Sod
Bluegrass Blends, Blue Grass Fescue Mix & Rhizomatous Tall Fescue (RTF)
Our sod is perfect for anyone, from landscapers and contractors to municipalities, school districts and cemeteries. If you have a green lawn, Savage Farms has a sod variety that will work for you!
We can cut sod for any sized order, and it only depends on how much you need. We specialize in two main sizes:
- Small: Each roll is 2-feet wide and 5-feet long. A palette of this size is 500 square feet. This is perfect for the average homeowner!
- Big Roll: Need a little more sod? Then the "Big Roll" cut is perfect. Each roll is 4-feet wide and 50-feet long. With this roll, Savage Farms offers its rollout service, where we come with our forklift to roll out the sod (the landscaper or homeowner is responsible for pulling the seams together and the trimming). These rolls are perfect for big, open areas!

- Homeowners: 34 cents per square foot for any quantity over 500 square feet

- 1,000 to 3,000 square feet: 37 cents per square foot
- 3,001 to 6,000 square feet: 34 cents per square foot
- 6,001 to 9,000 square feet: 32 cents per square foot
- 9,001 to 12,000 square feet: 29 cents per square foot

Potatoes
Savage Farms raises various varieties of potatoes used specifically for making potato chips. The next time you have a bag of Frito-Lay, Utz or Cape Cod Chips, you may be eating a Savage Spud from Deerfield MA! Farm owner Jay Savage is an active member of the National Potato Board, and serves currently as the Massachusetts state representative to the board.
